I just recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 and searching for a mount to use it in my car. With the design of our dash is very hard to mount anything.Windshield mount is out of the question since it is very far to reach and charge, also the aux outlet in the armrest storage will be very far to connect. The only solution is an adjustable mount that plugs into the charger outlet next to the shifter and also charges the phone.Any ideas, photos and what do you guys use for yourself? Thanks

If I'm using my phone to play music, I run my aux cable out of the center console, up through the hole into the top console, and then out the front between the two halves, and rest my phone on top of the left half. Otherwise, I just put it on top of the not-an-ashtray and don't worry about charging it (I have an extended battery, lasts a few days).

Come to think of it, why would you want a mount, anyways?

The bottom console has a seal that will allow cords to run out the sides. That's what I do.

OP, here is what you need.

My HTC HD2 in middle armrest compartment, connected to power socket via USD charger & via Bluetooth to HFT. Don't see any reason to mount a cradle.

Verizon sells a universal mount that hooks on to the air vent. Works perfectly, $16. I have droid charge.

With the setup I posted, just run your cord between the passenger seat and console. Like I mentioned, the bottom compartment has a seal that will close on cords out the side. I listen to Pandora 99% of the time with my AUX cable, and I have a USB charger in there as well.
