Shocks/Struts -- 100k, What other parts to replace?
Hi Everyone,
I am quickly approaching 100k and I am noticing the struts/shocks are starting to become a little bouncy on the highway -- nothing terrible at all, but 100k of wear is starting to show. Like most of us I'm a fanatic about the cars performance so I am thinking of changing them out.
I was wondering what other parts -- other than the struts/shocks I should replace? I was thinking of replacing the swaybar links. I heard the front swaybar bushings are nearly impossible to get to, so I'll skip those. I think the rears are easy to get to so I can do those.
How about strut mounts? Can you reuse the old ones provided theres nothing wrong? Any other items I should be considering? New bolts/nuts?
Hoping to get another 3 years out of the car.
Chris

I was gonna say bushings, but you got that covered. I don't know enough about the system to comment otherwise.
Sorry for the worthless post.
Edit: I don't know that the front bushings are hard to get to. The problem with the front sway bar is the engine is in the way to get it out, but I imagine the bushings are reachable.
