Seat covers..where can i find some ?

Can anybody point me in the right direction where i can find a decent seat cover

I tried googling it and i can never find one that would look nice and that will fit an 2009 rl.

I just need it for the driver side any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

I've heard that seat covers are actually bad for leather seats.

IMO there is a reason you cannot find a "nice one"... cause they all suck.

Its not recommended because of the side airbag. Its dangerous to have a seat covers on because it can cause failure to the side airbag deployment during an accident.

its just like your skin, moisturize and condition.

IMO if you have anything other than black leather the color will eventually change from normal wear.

Replace rather than cover?

If that's an option then any competent upholstery shop can find a matching leather and replace the panels on your seat.

Or

Have you contacted Katzkins? They have installers (or you can install it yourself). You might have to contact them to see if they have a pattern for the RL.
