Rock chip

Rock chip
I got a rock chip on my front hood the other day. It is about 1/4" long and is very noticeable. It really sticks out since my car is C/S. I think it is all the way down to the primer since it is very dark grey. What is the best way to fix it?

I had two similar ones on my black RL, right in the middle of the hood. I used the touch up paint and a product called Langka. It is advertised to remove paint "blobs". You fill in the chip with factory touchup paint and let the paint dry (I usually wait about a day). You then use the product which is like a liquid wax. You rub the liquid over the chip using a cloth and a credit car like card they supply with the kit. By using the card with the cloth it keeps the cloth from going into the chip and removing that paint. I does remove the "blob" part of the touch up paint but does not effect the factory paint. It usually will take 4 or 5 applications on rubbing the chip, but I also don't press very hard while rubbing it. I have used it for years with many cars and it has worked well for me. Their web site is Langka dot com. It seems a little pricy but I am still using the kit I purchase several years ago and it has helped me with alot of chips that I have never been able to repair that well before using this product.
