RL now my TL
As some of you know, I divide my driving between 2 cars so my 30,000 miles a year doesn't kill me on leases/trade-in values. As it turns out, I've been driving the new MDX exclusively for 2 weeks now, mainly because it's been so messy here and the RL is clean.
So the sun came out briefly today and I figured I'd better charge the battery in the RL. Wow. It is to the MDX what the TL was to the RL. I felt like I was in a sports car. LOL. I found myself zooming around and tossing the RL left and right like an Austin-Healy Sprite (okay, I'm exaggerating a little). But it did feel really responsive and lively.
Now, that's not to say the MDX is a dog ... far from it. The X feels light on its feet, quick, and very car-like, and I was ready to say it drives almost like the RL. But everything is relative, I guess, and by comparison the RL is the zoomier of the two.
It's interesting that the RL, which I once thought was a little more sedate, is now the thorobred of the household. It's kinda like someone slipped in a CAI when I wasn't looking.
