The Rl Gets No Respect From The New York Times
Just finished reading an articls in the Auto section of the Sunday NYTimes about all wheel drive sedans...apparently something new in the changing auto marketplace. There were comparisons of the usual suspects...Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Lexus and even Cadillac, too. But guess what...nothing about the SH-AWD Acura RL...and you have to wonder WHY? Although before I got my RL I was never a fan of Honda/Acura automobiles...I always respected their ability to come up with new designs and innovations that took center stage...and usually at great value. I guess Honda/Acura has become the Rodney Dangerfield of the automobile industry.

Three Wheelin'
Same thing happened in the Wall Street Journal a while back. I wonder why also.

Egh, car rag reviews are sometimes contrarian like movie reviews. If the paper says a movie is great I will probably stay away. Low popularity of the RL sucks for those that paid full sticker but it does mean we own a somewhat exclusive car in an ocean of Lexi and Infinitae. Not to mention every other car you see (here anyway) is a TL.

reminds me of when people talk about mp3 players and refuse to acknowledge that appple didn't invent the fuggin thing and that there are other models out there that are IMO better than the damn ipod.
