CR2025 are probably available in your grocery store. They were in mine, and happened to be cheaper than just about any place. Over time, I have checked out pricing at local Radio Shack (the most expensive), Best Buy, Home Depot, etc., and the local grocery store was the cheapest.

When the battery on the remote is replaced, do we need to re-program the remote to work with the car? What is involved or it is a simple, old battery out - new battery in, procedure? Thanks!

Simple "out and in". No programming or any other work required.
Note that the low battery warning may stay on a while after you change the battery, but it does go away - at least that was my experience.

There is a small black button that you depress to pull the real key out of the fob. Once it is out, you can open fob with coin in the side near the black button.
