Angry Rear Seatbelts

Ok - I have three seatbelt straps in the rear and only two buckles, what gives? There should be two buckles between the driver-side and center rear seats, correct?

Anyone know if the dealer removes the rear seat to apply any of the recent TSBs? Is it possible they left one of them under the seat or something??? I could have swarn there used to be three buckles. . .

It's possible they left one under teh seat during the TSB - they did have to take apart your rear seat to get to the acuralink module.

Doh! When they replaced my XM unit they busted the two clips that hold the seat down. *Thankfully* they found two clips in stock to fix it right there. This was on the day that I took delivery. Sigh.

Proof again that no amount of brilliant engineering can protect a car from inept service personnel. It's too bad that Honda doesn't make brains because I've met a few service guys who could use the upgrade.

Yes they do. Just read your post after posting in the other topic. I had the same problem. Read my post. Make sure you check the left side of your trunk because they take all of that out as well.

I've just noticed that my RL is missing the same rear buckle also....?? I will definitely find out what happened on my trip to the dealership next week.
