Random Brake Caliper request

RL guys,

sorry for the random question, but im trying to source brackets for the RL caliper to my tsx. I was wondering if you guys could measure on your calipers the distance from hole to hole where the bolts screw onto the hub/bracket.
Thank you so much for your time and effort.

As far as I remember, IT MIGHT fit. I try to measure it with my old Brembo BBK from my TL/TSX and the hole seem to be similar. Only thing you need to do is probably do a custom bracket.

And of course remember that the RL calipers are not made by Brembo, but Nissin.

The RL car-show KB-1 had Brembo brakes, and the TL's have a "brembo-licensed" brake bearing the Brembo logo. The KB-1 RL's we all drive have magnesium-bodied, 4-pot Advics brakes.

Great photos, HERE.

Hey guys, anyone have a service manual to help this guy out? The answer should be in there. If I still had my RL, I'd go out and measure.

I really don't know what I am supposed to be measuring. There are four obvious bolts that I could not really measure without removing the wheel, which I cannot do right now.

The inner pair looks to be between 5.25 and 5.5 The outer pair is close to 9.5

This is a picture I took last year, to show you the two pairs of bolts, but I really need to take the wheels off to get a good measurement. Maybe on the weekend

I can see that the bolts are 14 x 1.5 mm (78 N-m), but thats about it in the manual.

Have you tried going to the Parts Counter at a dealer to get a sample and then measure with a steel rule?

Given how uncommon the 2G RL is, most dealers won't have a sample on hand and would have to order it. Worth a call, though, maybe the OP has a high-volume dealer nearby.
