Radio AD

I live in L.A. area and I drive an hour and half each way in the morning and afternoon. There is nothing else you can do but listening to radio and I listen to Free FM 97.1 and KFI 640AM. When I listen to it, I hear MB ads (you have to love what you drive around here..), BMW ads (Ultimate driving machine), and Lexus ads (..?? ..can't remember) all the time (even Honda). And I hear Lexus every 15 min. when there is traffic report since they are the sponsor. But no Acura (Advance) ads what so ever for 3 years at least. No RL ads or even TL. A local dealer puts their ads but why not Acura?

I think it all has to do with money. Honda is the worlds 9th largest automaker last time I looked, and it concentrates on the Honda market, and not the Acura market. Last sales number I saw for Feb was Honda CRV sales alone outpaced all Acura sales combined. Acura is a small slice of the pie. As it gets rolled out as brand in Japan and China and other markets, then you may see more $ associated with things like radio ads. My $0.02

One of the RL's attributes is that you don't see too many of them and therefore we enjoy excusivity. One of the reasons that I bought an RL.
To Honda: Please do not increase your advertising, I don't want the same car as everybody else.
