Poor Service from Duncan Acura
I'm pretty discouraged as a Acura lover, b/c this is the first Acura I've owned that is under factory warranty so Im having all repairs done at the dealership. Problem is the dealership is an hour away. Ive now had to make 3 trips to this dealership (6 hrs drive time alone) because of mistakes (wrong parts being ordered) and parts not being in stock.
What should I request as far as reimbursement for items not covered under warranty. Ive wasted a lot of time and money sitting in this freaking waiting room going on a total of 9 hours.
I still love my RL but really wish I had a local dealer or another dealer close enough to make the switch....that is unless you guys say this is the norm...

I beleive it is time to try a new dealer or bring it to attention of AHC about the incompetency of the dealer.
OT : Lots of bad review on Duncan Acura today. Some bloke over in 4G TL also reported issue https://acurazine.com/forums/4g-tl-2009-2014-123/horrible-experience-acura-dealer-690050/

One of the reasons I went with Acura is because the dealership is only 3 miles from my house. With my previous car, the Audi, it was a 15 mile trek to the dealer.
I've always been curious how far the average RL owner drives to their respective Acura dealers. I've seen posts of 3 minute drives and one I can remember where the guy traveled 3 hours to the dealer.

Well here's how it ended...
I already paid for the side mirror signal marker (which was the one item they had right today) $101 but since I waited for 4.5 hours they did not charge me labor to put it in...I guess saving me around $95
But I still have to go back to complete the warranty work for the items they did not have in.
I need a fog light b/c of all these trouble's is it outrageous to ask them to cover it under the warranty when they said before that they wouldnt cover it?

It is interesting that Duncan Acura made it into the forum. A few years back, when I was living in Roanoke, I have several problems with sales and service experiences. I will never return to this dealer.....they are shady on a good day.
I would drive to the next closest dealer, which I think is Richmond.
