Only thing I noticed is the goodson on the trunk. I assume dealer signage? Take it off. I think it takes away from the car.

Looks AMAZING!!! I want 18"s !!!

Congrats on the ride. The steering wheel really adds to the interior.

Well Done.

Looks great but the goodson name dealio is horrible...did they ask if they could put that on or did they just figure hey, this person paid this much for the car and we'll slap our name sticker on his paint job because we can.

I hope it comes off easy because the fact that it is there pisses me off.

Hmmm....well.....I like it. Compared to the standard wheel, its much better. BUT if this was a perfect world, i'd like to have the TL steering wheel in the RL (sport grips).

Otherwise, everything else (options) are very cool. Say, does anyone know if the Pzero Neros are directional tires or not?

Yup, David McDavid Acura tried to put their logo on my car. Made them take it off right then and there. If you want me to advertise, then pay me. After all, I had to pay for the friggin' car.

When I have my detail guy come by (Zaino treatment), i'll have him de-badge the car.

Nope, they are asymetric (non-directional).

I know that when I get my RL, if I do. The first thing I would do is convert the wood to carbon fiber or anything but wood. Now that I see the wood steering wheel, it does give a very nice touch to the interior. I'm hoping the 06 gives you more choices than wood. Congrats on the car.

Thanks! I'm not a big fan of the wood either, but i'm also cheap. That venture you set you back several $$$. Do you plan to lease or buy the RL once you make it back to the states? Not sure about the '06s, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Honda isn't known for major changes in the middle of a build cycle (except for the '06 Accord....first I've EVER seen Honda make).

I did it on my TL, it cost me about $500, the problem is you have to take the pieces out and send them in to be done. the wood on the RL is very nice, unlike the one for the TL, so doing it on the RL might not be smart idea, unless someone makes them as a replacement, so you can keep your originals.

I would buy, unless they give me an awesome deal on a lease. I'm not sure if I will be able to afford a TL less likely an RL. I don't know if you know, but military living overseas that moves to the states take a huge pay cut. I make about $4k a month here, in the states I'll be making about half of that. so will see.

Bitium - First, I didn't know about the pay cut, and I am personally sorry that the U.S. will not pay you as much as you make now, let alone what you should be earning for working for the country. I personally thank you for your service.

I am curious, where do you send the wood to in order to have this work done? I would like to look into it a little more.

Well it was about 3 years ago when I did mine. A friend of mine that owns www.autocarparts.com and used to own acura-tl.com he was trying to come up with some way to make the pieces and sell them, but it didn't work out. Since at the time I was about the only person that knew how to take the door pieces out, he ask me to loan my pieces as a test for the new parts, in return I get my parts done in C/F for free. Don't know the place, but I'll try to find out. Btw it didn't work out because he learn how hard was to take the pieces out of the door and put them back that he knew very few people would do it, so no business there.

Oh Bitium, i'm fully aware of what Uncle Sam pays you. I survived 18 years as a military brat through two branches (Army & Air Force) of the armed forces. Funny thing, my father almost took command of Aerospace Physiology at Ramstein back the in 90's....instead he opted for Sheppard (ENJPT). So, I sympathize with your pay differential.

As for changing the wood interior, I thought about it today and concluded it looks good as is. The wood is understated (none of the loud stuff certain unmentioned manufacturers use) just like a MB.

Really only 1/4 fits on the HD? I would have assumed (assumption is always bad, eh?) that a HD can fit the enitre world. I guess because the navi system was older?

Amazingly bad taste. Not only did they leave it on - its gaudy huge No way would I buy from that dealer unless they left off the free advertising
