Have you tried eBay? That's how I got mine. You can also install it yourself to save $$$ ....there are two DIYs in the 2G Garage thread with pix.

Try places like curryacuraparts.com; hondacuraworld.com;bernardiparts.com and see what you get. It won't be MSRP. Some have free shipping thrown in. It won't be $500, but it will be more than $400

I got mine on ebay from Baldwin Auto Supply, new for $269.00. I admit I have never seen them under $300 since I bought mine. I hesitated for nearly a year before changing the wheel and shift knob. I never regretted doing so, even if the cost was higher.

They do have a store on ebay motors and sell Honda OEM parts and accessories. I do not know if they have any RL wheels currently, but you may want to contact them and see what they say. You can Google them and it will show links to their ebay store.
Again, I have never seen them offered again at the price I got (I even checked my receipt to confirm my price paid), which is why I bought it immediately from this vendor.
Last time I posted a wheel deal online, I think it was Robersan who picked it up.

I paid $385 shipped and I think that's about average.
I just searched on eBay using "RL steering wheel", there are at least 30 steering wheels, about 1/4 for the 2G RL. Go look!

Just checked Baldwin's website and they didn't have anything. That price is awesome. I'm going to get a wood wheel, shift knob, and rear lip spoiler off Ebay. Going to try and negotiate a good price with one dealer.

Got mine used on eBay for $100-it's the best value upgrade I made on my RL. There is a small scratch on the wood at the bottom, but that's it-the rest of the wheel still looks like new. BTW, if you are reasonably handy, the wheel can be self-installed-handling the airbag sounds scary, but as long as you are careful with it, you will be fine. I've taken mine on and off a couple of times to adjust the position-the wood wheel tines seem very slightly offset from the stock one.

I was watching them online (mostly ebay) for weeks. Rob144 had gotten his, posted pics and I was falling off the fence. When I bought mine, there were a few weeks when I saw them under $375 and just hit the sweet spot of inventory and competition. I take much pride in my purchase!
I thought of you recently psheu. I now have an extra set of OEM wheels in my garage to rotate off the rush-to-the-airport-and-park curb rashed rims,,,,
Also the set of OPB mud guards I bought to replace one slightly scuffed guard.
I think I will ebay them after I get them refinished....or like you I can just keep a collection of RL parts! And speaking of your spare part collection....
How is that SHAWD Dif coffee table? The auto tranny credenza and the rear bench seat porch swing???

They seem to be a legitimate vendor....and the box was undamaged.

started collecting quotes from 3 local dealers.
1) wanted $115.00
2) wanted $200 included front end alignment(stated i wouldn't want to send you home with an unaligned RL)
3) still waiting to hear back.

When the wheel is swapped as long as the new is put exactly where the old one was it will not affect alignment. If the new is not placed exactly where the old one was the wheel will be cocked over when the car is going strait. This has nothing to do with the actual front end alignment it is simply where the wheel is positioned on the steering column.
The dealer doing front end alignment too is doing unnecessary work if the front end is aligned already.
$115 is a good price ($10 less than typical). There is a DIY on here that will walk you through it. It is not that difficult and steering wheel removal tool is not required.
