^ what he said Also, there's a feature thread around here somewhere worth checking out. I learned a lot about what these cars can do from that thread when I first bought my RL. Not gonna lie I'm pretty jealous of your woodgrain wheel, I only have the knob "/ Try not to total this one! haha

Nice. I came from a 98 Prelude SH to the RL. Like he said above, it probably has the PAX tires on it so if you're in need of new tires you should be planning to spend some money on new wheels and tires.

CMBS works by keeping you from slamming into the car in front of you*. The process occurs in three steps.

1) A "BRAKE" light will illuminate on the instrument cluster giving a visual warning.
2) The seat belt will tighten giving a physical warning.
3) The car will begin the braking process in order to either help the driver account for reaction time or lessen the impact should the driver not react at all.

The thing that you probably care about is the fact that CMBS equipped cars come with PAX or run-flat tires (assuming your car has not been modified). The tires themselves cost $2k+, so many people have decided to switch to a set of new wheels with regular tires when it's time to buy new tires to lower the cost of future tire purchases. This is thoroughly documented in the Tires sub-forum.

*This feature may disable itself in inclement weather without warning.

Clean. You need some LED plate lights to complement the reverse lights.

the 25W led bulb in DRL/hi-beams looks really nice... wonder if it lights up the road as well as the halos

I think I read that LED's do not illuminate as well as Halos in this installation.

Maybe its the shape of the LED die is not compatible with automotive reflectors but 25 watt is still a lot of light, just not hitting the reflector with the right angles to be projected outward.

Just go look at your tires. If it has the PAX setup the tire size will be 245-680R460A. If not, they will probably be P245/50R17's.

Buy your set of wheels? I have 4 sets of wheels and 3 sets of tires for my RL. Lol. I'm about to put a set of 18" A-Specs w/ tires and my 20" TSW Londrinas on eBay.

BTW, I don't know how I actually saw that but you should put anything that matters in the post subject, not the title.
