New RL Lease Deal $599/mo

Just heard from my dealer today:

$599/mo for 48 mos (guessing 12k miles/year but didn't ask).

Also some great deals on the MDX (money factor real low + high residuals).

Deal on RL goes thru July 4; MDX thru July 1.

Those deals are hardly worth it. You can negotiate better deals than those easily.

I got this same deal emailed to me back in April. I'm sure you can do better now.

If the new 2006MDX is coming out in the fall, they will want to clear out all stock of 2005's before they start arriving, ergo the deals.

RL Lease -- I hate to disagree, but the deal I heard about back in April was $599 with about $4500 up front (or ~$700 with nothing out of pocket).

This one is $599 w/ nothing out of pocket.

MDX Lease -- I'd love to know how many they sell here (Georgia). "Not many"...

You don't think there are a lot of MDX here? I see a bunch everyday. I would say the percentage of MDX on the road here is the same as S. Cal where I'm from.

You don't think there are a lot on the road? Where are you, Paulding county or something, where it is either old Camaros or Ford trucks??? (LOL)

My bad; should have checked the email (rather than rely on memory). My email dated 5/2/05 was for $599 / month with $2500 total out of pocket. So I stand by what I said and adding the info from T Austin above - I don't see where it is an outstanding deal for a so-called clearance event.

I got another email today saying they are reducing inventory and requesting we bring our best area deal in (there are 3 other dealers) and they'll beat it by $300.

Final answer -- Acura is eating the cap-cost reduction on the car (~$4400).

So drive-away fee is $1800 (lease inception, motor vehicle, etc.).
