From what I have read in the past the G35X is .4-.6 slower than the G35 to 60 and .3 slower through the 1/4. Of course all thing are rarely equal. That would put it closer to the RL territory.
That stated, every time I watch Indy or Nascar I rarely hear the loser was ,"sleeping on it." A win is a win. Drive safe.

limiter?!?! what a shame. The limiter in my '04 TL kicked in at 150mph. I'm in the process of getting an RL (if I can find an A-Spec) but it doesn't make any sense to limit it at 134. I hope all that technology is worth the lack of performance I'm used to in the TL.

Do you feel better about yourself now?

The purpose of a speed limiter is not to enable or disable you ability or inablility to be 'owned'. Nor does a speed limiter attempt to rank the performance of one car over another.

The speed limiter is a governing device which is calibrated to maintain a speed ceiling where the model car and the OEM tires are rated within safety margins.

Many people are wise enough to drive their vehicles in a safe / controlled enviroment, and within the limits of the car, tires and driver's capabilities.

Many drivers are NOT that wise. Hence we have speed limiters.

Thats the supposed reason but the identical RL in europe does not have a limiter and it runs 156mph. The RL's stock tires are rated w which is good for speeds over 150. Thus, the supposed reason for a limiter is entirely moot.
In Japan its even worse all cars are limited to 115 or so

The ROW Honda LEGEND does not have the OEM Michelins we get here in the USA. They get 235/50 R17 100W-rated tyres which accomodate a higher speed rating than the US OEM 245/50 R17 98V rated tires. Further, safety compliance regulations may vary, market to market.

Haha, only twice. I worked my way up to it trying to see when the limiter would kick in. The second time was to make sure. Car performed great except the A/C started blowing warm air. I was like !!!

My Tl was beyond stock, especially the rated tires(Z rated). Although the limiter is not a gauge of total performance, it is relevant when racing in a "controlled environment". It doesn't make sense to have a limiter fluctuate per vehicle, kinda defeats the purpose.
