I'm FINALLY going to buy an RL in the next week or so. I'm interested in people's experience buying and obtaining service at the following SF Bay Area Dealers: Pleasanton, Oakland, Hopkins (Redwood City), Mike Harvey (Burlingame), Serramonte.

I had a good buying experience at Mike Harvey Acura. But by the time I got there I had already shopped around and new everything about the car I needed to know. I've had service done at Stevens Creek and Los Gatos Acura - neither experience was great.

Ok attendees, looks like this one is going to be fun.....

There will be a pre-meet drive on April 15th at 11:00am Starting at Acura of Serramonte. I will begin the sign up sheet onthe bottom of the list.

I've just visited Acura of Serramonte to check details for our event. They will clear one side of the front parking lots and move all for sale cars to the right side (if you are facing the location). Mara Mueller (Service Advisor) is looking forward to the event and is trying to get some freebies for our (i.e. free oil change and stuff).

I then drove the alternate route . Not as exciting as last year, but I can promise you...the route will be scenic, designed for photo shoots. We will begin at Acura of Serramonte then drive through San Bruno Mountain. We will then head to Brisbane to 101 south, 380 West, San Bruno/Tanforan exit...head North so Auto Sport Garage. There will be a Dyno (cost TBD), BBQ and some prices to be given away...including the price that Acura of Serramonte will give us.

If the weather and location permits...there will be a surprise detour and we will be priviledge to see the Bay Area in a 360 Deg view.

AutoSport has cleared all the parking lot and willbe able accomodate more tha 100 cars. There will also be some race cars on display.

This is good information. I hope to move from DC/Northern VA to San Francisco this year and I was hoping there were some good Acura dealers out there.
