My head hurts from searching - Questions on Nav to Video Conversions
Hey guys,
Can someone please tell me what's involved in getting inputs to our navi display?
I've been looking at TVandNav2go, which there's currently a group buy for and am quite interested in this modification.
Would this install require access to the back of our navi screen/unit inside the dash, or is it by the DVD Nav reader in the trunk?
I know that there are a few other manufacturers who have units, which is the most easiest for a shade tree mechanic like myself to install?
What backup camera would one recommend for our car and where/how would it be mounted?
Thanks!
Brian

If the tvandnav2go is like the other units, then you only need access to the dvd drive in the trunk.
I had used the avlectronic unit in my TSX and it was very easy to install - almost all plug and play (except 1 splicing for the power - and a screw for the ground)
Can't help you with the backup cam, I had used the backup cam from avlectronic (the license plate frame cam) and it was cheesy.

No. But, for this you would have to get behind the head unit (unless you are willing to take off the rear airbag to get to the fm antenna). You can use an FM modulator (which is what I did in the TSX) the sound quality is not top notch; however, it is like FM and is decent. It is not like the XM or the DVD-A.
