Our RL's are our first two car leases-- and on the first one we tried increasing mileage at the dealership from 10k to 12k miles per year. The dealer offered to do that-- for 30 cents per mile-- 50% more than the 20 cents Honda would charge at lease end- so obviously we passed.


On the second car another dealer let us buy miles for 10 cents per mile.

Anyway- if any of you have had a lease with Honda before- do they ever let you buy mileage mid way through the term of the lease, or offer any incentives like that? Thanks in advance... John

I had asked american honda once and they said no. I ended up just buying out the lease in the next day and eventually just sold the car.

If you're really exceeding the mileage by a lot, just make sure you trade the car in and try to recoup as much of the buy-out amount as possible instead of returning it to American Honda Finance.
