Issue update on my now 3 week old RL :-)

Brake clunking: Machined rotors (in my case just a burnishing @ 600
miles) new pads 45227-SJA-013 and a spring #08798-9010B and some
paste #08798-9010B.....No more clunking! (fronts only)

Vibration: out of balance tires....removed all weights and rebalanced. Both rears were off and the fronts were fine. Initially I could feel the shaking through the seat vs the steering wheel so I thought it was in the rears. Turns out that was it..no vibration. I will say the 18" Michelin
Pilot Sport Tires are very sensitive to tracking and ride is not soft.
I went on Tire Rack's site and many reviewers gave the tire low marks
because of ride quality...but praised their big grip. I'm learning to like
them but I think there are maybe other tires that give the same
performance without the negatives. One other thing about these Michelins, they are noisy. My dealer offered to get me whatever I
wanted, to his credit. They are bending over backward to please the
customer.

XM Radio reverting to preview station.....not any news from Acura
but they are aware of it.

Battery going dead: Although I haven't experienced it, my dealer has
had other owners who have had problems. They explained the sequence
that makes it happen but have no TSB to update yet. I will continue
to be careful with the trunk opening etc.

I had the A-spec suspension installed today and it transformed the
car. It makes turn-in feel tighter and more responsive with less body lean. The ride is firm but not stiff (I owned Zanardi #17 and that was one stiff ride vs a stock NSX). I would recommend this modification to
anyone who prefers a sharper handling RL. It dropped the car slightly
(.5-.75") but not "slammed" like the H&R's 1.5+" drop. Part of the
install was a four wheel alignment to bring it back into spec. The 18's
pretty much fill the wheel well now.

Additionally I did the wood wheel...nice feel and looks great!

I'm back in love with my RL.....

One other thing, what's it take to post attachments?

I am interested in having the A-spec suspension, but my dealer's services manager is still looking into to see if this dealership has started to provide this service. Would you mind telling me what your dealer charged for the purchase and installation of the suspension? Thanks.

The suspension is available from a few Acura dealers on E-Bay for a "buy
it now" price of around $625-700 delivered. Install about $650. I'm sure
somebody can do it for less, but of course that's the way with everything.

I'll probably throw it on my self. Curry seems to have the best price on the kit

If you have any before/after pics I'd love to see the new stance. I can even host the pictures for you for everyone to see. Just shoot me an email to asuitedpair at comcast dot net.

Glad to hear some of the issues are getting resolved.

Attachments? You mean zip files... or images? Either way, you need your own hosting space for this. If it is images I will be happy to post them for you... PM me for my e-mail.

I figured it out...thanks for the offer. I posted some pictures on the
"Unofficial C Silver" thread...(Actually ASP helped me too!)
