BTW I just got home from the dealer, oil change ( since when do oil changes cost $50? ) and I sat in the New TL . . . . . the inside is real nice, except for the armrest, that person who designed that should be fired ! But I can;t get past the nose on that car and the back end isn't exactly all that great either.

Agreed.. The interior just feels tights, cozy, but some things.. like the armrest, and my arm dangling in the air when pushing buttons in the middle.. are not too good. This car is a one hit woner, if that...

plastik, btw, you have any larger pics of your RL? I likey you set-up....

That happens to me all the time. I take a car in, and come back with something newer. Its really sad.

It doesn't even phase my wife when she comes home and there is a new car parked in the driveway.

I took her FX35 in and came back with a G37c.

I'm waiting on the XFR to come out. :xfinger:

I've been thinking about things I want to do to my RL. This will be my first car to "mod" so I don't really know where to start.

I'm going to start with the A-Spec kit. I'm not sure if I want to go with A-Spec wheels, or something else. Also, I want to paint the roof of the car black. I think it will look good with the silver.

Anyone else have any other suggestions?

Just don't take your car to the car wash like I did. My wife isn't surprised when I come home with something new, either.

BTW, The XF-R= sex. My V will still kick the snot out of it, though.

NICE. Great pic. I'll have to make that my desktop as it does remind me of my RL.

If you look really close in that pic, you can see my fiance in the passenger seat.

Note: she has to this day never sat in the driver seat

My wife and I were coming back from dinner the other night and we seen a new CTS-V. She immediately fell in love. So, I guess thats next.

I think the car thing is starting to bite her, because she is picking out all these cars she likes when we see them around town. Shes wearing my wallet out! I only got the G37c because I thought she would like it and her FX35 was about 4 years old. G37 doesn't even have 10,000 miles on it yet. I'm not the only one bringing home new cars, because she gave her RR to our youngest son. Its an 06 with about 57XXX miles on it. She took it on herself to replace it with a new XC60. Pretty neat car, it has some very sexy lines. Son needed a different SUV, the RDX had a whimpy tow rating for what he needed.

I wanted the X6. She wanted the XC60, I still love my RL. Everyone's happy.

If she gets a new CTS-V, I'll have to get something that can keep up.

Back to my RL, which is why I joined this forum in the first place... After seeing an RL with just the A-Spec wheels, I may just do that. I think its the touch it needed to look a little more sporty. Plus, the stock wheels aren't good enough for the car. I liked the A-Spec body, but I don't know if I want my RL to be that racy. I kind of like it better with smooth and flowing lines.

I still want to paint the roof black though. Think it will look good?

Any other pictures of Silver RL's with just A-Spec wheels?

I like black roofs on white cars, and possibly silver.. although, a white car with a black roof is hardcore SEX!

RL's are tough to come by and seem scarce here. The new TL's grill is ugly. You made the right choice.
