Man. I got my RL done for $140.00 w/tx, (Llumar) so as long as it comes with a lifetime guarantee, Id be goin' cheapest.

Went w/ 28% front 15% rear and back, legal in Fla.

Save $$ and go w/ Solar

If ceramic had been available in my area when I wanted to tint, I would have used that. It lasts longer and is totally compatible with GPS.

Huper Optik is my vote.

I put 3M on mine, it lightens and darkens up to 5% with the sunlight.

Don't mean to confuse the matter, but a third choice is Pinnacle Formula One Tint which is what I went with. It too is ceramic.

Llumar.... 20% all around.... $80 with life time warrenty..... some even goes all the way down to $60...... is affordable tint a South Florida thing? it's a 2 hour job..... clean, measure, cut, paste, squiggie out bubbles..... why is everyone paying that much for it?

I guess labor and rent rates are higher in the city. I checked 3 places before I settled where I settled.

There is practically 0 gap between the edge of window and edge of tint.

I got the 40.

Funny thing, 2 blocks from my house police set up a road black and were giving out tickets to tinted cars...I passed.

Ceramic tint is also more expensive. $400 is not an unreasonable rate given what I've seen quoted on this board. For regular tint, the material is cheaper, thus the price should be accordingly lots cheaper. I paid $250 here in Cleveland for my non-ceramic tint.
