House in the RL Ads & Brochure
There is a modern styled house often depicted in the RL ads and in the brochure (my 2006 brochure anyway). Usually the RL is parked in the driveway.
Well while watching NFL on CBS yesterday, I noticed a lot of Acura ads running. At one point I saw an ad that had this house in it and it turned out it was a commercial for Chrysler's new Town & Country minivan!
Not only was it the same house, but the music score for the commercial was the same score used in some Acura commercials! Even the flavor of the commercial was the same as Acura commercials. The camera pans around the van while occupants utilize the features and flys out of the moving vehicle. Hmmmm, where have we seen this before?
I would assume the ad was done by the same agency that Acura utilizes, but it made me wonder how similar they are in imagery, music and voiceover.
