Has anyone used a Mityvac fluid extractor to change transmission fluid?
I am going to buy one of these Mityvac extractors so I can change the oil myself without making a mess and I was reading about this 3x3 flush transmission flush and was curious if anyone had used one of these fluid extractors to do the transmission fluid on an 08 RL?
Thanks,

Doesn't work that great. I can only get a quart of fluid out at a time. It is not very messy, however, and you don't have to work too hard. I got a lot more fluid out of my 1995 Legend.
It pulls a pretty good vacuum, but in the end, I think it starts working against itself at a certain point... you can only pull so much vacuum, Maybe I should read the directions again...because I got a lot more out of the Legend.

I would be very weary about using it on the tranny. Honda recommends to only drain the tranny. Using a device/machine to forcibly remove transmission fluid has killed Honda trannys before. The whole point of the 3x3 is that only 3 of the 7 quarts will drain by gravity. If you could get it all out at once, there would be no need to refill and drain twice more.
