It is doubtful that Acura would randomly have RCA connectors on the RL and not the other cars. I used www.avelectronic.com for my TSX and many used it in the TL as well. It is a plug and play system, connects between the navi dvd drive and the wiring. You plug it in, mount the unit, connect the power (12v+ and ground). Then you need to get a dvd player - there are many for vehicles available (check www.crutchfield.com, circuit city, best buy - and other car audio places). A good resource would be to stroll over to the 3G TL forums - there is a wealth of information over there regarding this type of work...

Yes, basically you pop in a dvd and on the remote control for the avelectronic unit, you switch to the dvd system. You can watch a dvd on the go (if you do the wiring properly - with the system, you are supposed to attach a wire to the hand brake, if you simply ground the wire instead of attaching it to the brake, you can watch movies on the go. i do not reccomend this or condone it in any way. It is very illegal and very dangerous) If you need the navigation system to work, you simply push the button on the remote again, and it will flip back to the navigation screen.
With the system, you can also install a rear view camera which will automatically turn on the cam on the nav scren when you put the car in reverse.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
