Got My 2006 Silver RL TODAY
Thanks for all the help guys. I picked up my 2006 CPO RL today with 38,000 miles.
I love this car great ride quality.
I had a question i notice that my Tire Monitor system is giving a lower reading for the driver front tire and the Back windows are not rolling down with driver buttons but they go down with the back buttons. Just brought the car home and noticed that.

Congrats! 2006 is my favorite year.
The window switch reset is referenced in this thread:

I am not sure what your concern with the TPMS is? If the tire pressure reading is low, that tire needs more air. They read real time tire pressure, per tire.

Randy is the Future
Hey Mr. Tea welcome to the club. I see your from Connecticut, I am from Hartford. I've had my RL for about 2 and a half years and i love it. I've been debating if i will get rid of it for something else and i can honestly say that the only thing i will trade it in for a newer RL. You will love your RL, it is hands down one of the cars i've ever been in. Congrats!!!!

Good luck with the new RL Mr Tea! this car is one of the most overlooked luxury models out there. I have a black on tan 05 and recently have had an ls430 lexus and a 3 series bmw. RL is the best of both worlds...a handling car with interior room and style....and it stays out of the service bay in the dealership. It maybe does not have quite the "pressence" of the Lexus LS from exterior looks but then again my wife hated the look ofthe LS..thought it was an old man car.She loves the RL. Sweet engine also. Now if Ican just figure out all the navigation features.

Proboscis-free zone
Welcome aboard
Congrats Mr. Tea! I too am partial to the '06 model. You got yours for well under half of the original MSRP and trust me, there is waaay more than half the useful life remaining in your car. Nice, low-maintenance color too. (Which silver?)
The *only* thing that would get my trade mine in would be a Legend hybrid. Of course it would have to be minus the buck-toothed proboscis and the fugly Saturn-Buick-Cadillac keister that now seems to be Acura's "signature."
I had my '06 in recently for service at an independent Honda/Acura service shop and when the service writer got a look at my pristine ride, I think he was actually drooling. It's aging well at 58,000 miles. Yours will too.

My Tl was 1999 with 300,000 miles. It was a total loss a month ago when i truck driver on the I-84 in CT decided to REAR END me in stop and go traffic.
I had a rental car for over 31 days until i found the right RL. I love this car it's like night and day compared to my TL.
