fog lights - after market
I did a search and didn't come up with much other than fixing my current fog light, which is cool but I'm wanting to install some after market fog lights (cheaper than OEM - maybe, and better quality - again, maybe). I'm not comfortable baking my fog lights and replacing the glass.
Has anyone purchased after market fog lights and had success with them?
Thanks.

IMO: Difficult to beat OEM Fog lamps, but at close to $200 each, kind of steep! You might want to try, an on-line, used part supplier, "ie" car-part.com. You could pick up a clean, used fog, for in the neighborhood of $50.00, shipped. After market lamps, generally, don't compare, quality wise, with OEM.

Do you have anymore info about this retrofit? One of my fogs has a small hole in it so the bulb has blown. Really dont want to spend the money for a stock replacement.

I'm going to purchase the Aspec lip for my car, does it matter if I cut and modify the front lip before or after I were to rig up the bracket for the fog lights? Not sure how clear of a question that is. Let me try one more way of asking, if I were to get the front lip, cut it for the stock fog lights, then later modified the bracket for after market fog lights would the cut out on the front lip be the same?

When you say "fusion" is that a brand or like the Ford Fusion car fog lights?

As far as the A-Spec kit is concerned, it comes with an opening for the factory fog lights. I didn't modify my A-Spec lip in any way for this project. It was literally removing the factory housing and designing the bracket for the fog lights so that I would line up the fog lights right.

I essentially removed the factory housing and made a custom bracket for the projectors. Not the cleanest job by any means but it's been on the car for like 4 years now, and I haven't had any problem yet. Granted I have the A-Spec from end, so I don't know how this would look aesthetically on a non-aspec model.

If I'm not mistaken, this should fit the RL https://www.theretrofitsource.com/ho...to-xb-led.html
and if so, that's the route I would take if i had an RL
I bought this set for my TL when it was first released but found out they didn't fit
I did end up fitting it to my mom's 9th gen Accord and they're super sexy

Burning Brakes
Just a note on the OEM lights: after having road debris punch holes in two of them, I replaced them with OEM units, installed Hoen yellow bulbs and ** coated the faces with 3M rock guard**
It's crystal clear and in the subsequent 10 years, no cracks, no pits, no troubles.
I think that mod cost me $10.
