This may be a bit of a regional question as I do not know how widespread the use of EZ Pass for tolls is. Anyway, can the tag be used successfully on the inside of the windshield or do you need to install the special tag that mounts on the front license plate? I have seen a few new RLs with the tag on the license plate and was wondering whether they had it there for personal preference or out of necessity.

Any input would be great!

EZ Pass works fine on the inside of the windshield.

Mine is on the windshield behind the rear view mirror. Works fine.
