Eulogy for precious
Hello friends, it is with great sadness and heavy heart I bring you this very sad news. My beloved Precious is no longer with us. For better or worse, Precious is gone. Although Precious and I had some issues and minor differences, the time we spent together was precious. Keep her in your heart and and remember the good times and the positive ways she affected our lives. Good bye old girl, may your oil changes continue to be synthetic and your gas be premium.

It's official, I sold my RL and have purchased an A6 S-Line. Although the RL is gone I will continue to be an active member here to assist those who may exhibit the same issue I had with precious (lord knows there were many). I know I'll get some flack fore switching to A6 but I'm curious as to what you guys think.

That's a pretty tough question to answer without blanket statements and broad sweeping generalizations. With that in mind, Audi has some of the worst reliability of any luxury brand.
That doesn't mean the OP is doomed or made a bad decision. His RL had a relatively large number of issues, so he didn't get to revel in the comfort of a solid running Honda. All it really means is that the odds of an Audi needing to go to the dealer for warranty or would-be warrsnty repairs is higher than that of the other brands. Nothing is absolute.

The funny thing is that I spent so much money fixing the RL that the new owner is probably going to be the one to enjoy the "solid reliability" of it. I guess I'll see how I fair with the A6. And if it starts acting up, I'm simply going back to the car that never let me down in any way. Honda Accord EXL

I had a 1991 Accord LX 4dr, a 2005 Accord V6 4dr, and a 2007 Accord V6 coupe and they were excellent vehicles except the 2007 seat hurt my lower back after 20 minutes of driving due to the shorter seat bottom. I am over 6 feet tall. By the way off the subject my Brother drove my RL yesterday to test my new brake and rotor setup and he said it drove and rode just as good as his girlfriends new Mercedes Benz 350 coupe.

The crosstour is a crossover car. Don't know what they crossed it with but its not my style. Maybe more of a soccer moms car. I would like to see a Honda Accord EXL with AWD. Basically what it would be is a much less expensive RL. An d I'm fine with that.
