Driver's Door Panel Removal Instructions?
I checked the Garage and the Service Manuals but was unable to locate the instructions to remove the interior door panels, specifically the Driver's Door.
I have a new door panel armrest I would like to install, but a bit leery of prying off the door panel to replace it.
Anyone have 'Instructions for Dummies' with step by step advice?
Any special tools or clips that must be replaced? I usually do not trust myself with such undertakings, but I thought if this forum could offer details, I would give it a go.
Thanks in advance.

I can only offer supportive words -- good luck. Take pictures.
I'm guessing there are screws under the door handle and door pulls, and maybe where the tweeter lives. And under any other removable panels on the door. Then lots of nerve-wracking prying and pulling.
Apt to be some wire bundles to disconnect to get the panel all the way off to reinstall the arm-rest - especially with the window switches on there. I had no idea it was a replaceable separately.
Why isn't the dealer doing this for you?

My dealer has had my door panels off several times recently while replacing the multiplexers, door handles, window switches, etc. My mechanic ordered new "clips" on the last trip because he felt that they would'nt make it many more times. I did'nt watch him remove the panels, but he did mention that he uses a non metalic panel removal tool to pry the panel loose starting at the lower outside edge. I don't know if any of that helps at all but that's about it for my door panel experience.
