I saw an 09 at the dealer and I thought the rear looked good. I like it better than the current 05-08 rear.

So you are advocating buying a car that looks ugly? I'm not too sure that many people do that.

And, in the event that you do buy an ugly car, you are advocating changing it? If you have enough money to change it then you could probably afford to buy a car that does not need changing but then again it seems like you are stating that you should always buy a Honda irrelevant of its styling.

I love the rear styling of the RL. Looks upscale. If I could afford, I would have got the 09 RL....

I had a chance to see and drive the new TL. It actually looks pretty good in person. The grille (Beak) looks better on light colored cars since it doesn't stand out quite as much. There rear looks okay but does seem to be a bit "hefty" as a lot bumper shows compared to the tiny slit of taillights.

I went in to see the new TL and they had a black/black 09 RL that looked great....all over.

I had previously seen a silver jade metallic 09 RL and I thought the back looked good but the beak looked awkward. Not so on the black. It really looked sharp in front and back. I would reserve judgement on the looks of the 09 until you see one in person in a dark color. The grigio might be nice too.
