When American Honda's PR people releases sales every month, do those sales include Canada? If so, why do they exclude Canada-only models like the EL?

my guess would be that the reason they don't have the EL models in the American Honda Press Release is because its solely american

I believe that American Honda sales data does NOT include Honda Canada. The usual best estimate for Canadian sales is 1/10th the American sales since Canada has approx. 1/10th the population. That said, we Canadians love our Honda's and there is sure to be some variation to that estimate. Regarding RL sales, pricing up here was stupid - C$71,000 base price plus options and plus sales tax which i'm sure hurt sales volume. However, since they only made something like 2000 RL's in the Canadian configuration, dealers were each only getting 2 or 3 a month and so my guess is that they were able to sell what they got.

If the press releases don't include Canadian sales, then Acura might sell 20,000 RL's after all. I've only been counting U.S. sales, it appears.
