I've owned this 2006 RL now since January of this year and just noticed something on the back of the rear view mirror...a Hertz sticker with a 4 digit number under it.

I bought this from a local Porsche dealer and was told it was traded in to one of their other locations (this dealership has many branches selling other brands). The Carfax checked out great. I was just very surprised to see this.

Not that I know of. Could have also been a corporate leased company vehicle.

Are you sure the sticker is from the rental company? I wouldn't rule it out as you can get E350s and other mid-size lux sedans with them, but I would certainly hope the CarFax would tell you that.

What does AutoCheck say? Copy link: http://www.greenlightmotors.net/sear...check.php?vin= , put your VIN after the "=", hit enter.

I should have saved the sticker to post it here. It was definitely a Hertz sticker with their font.

I'll grab the VIN and try the site and post the results.

I don't know if AutoCheck will give you anything different from the CarFax. It's just a second source.
