Depaxing and 4-wheel alignment
When I Depax my RL with 18" a-specs, do I have to get a 4 wheel alignment afterwards? I'm keeping the original suspension and I know the rears are stiffer than non pax and also the a-spec wheel is lighter, so I'm wondering if my alignment will be off.
Anyone know for sure?

Cruising in ATL!!
I can't say whether it's necessary but I did not do alignment when I de-pax my 06. I went with aftermarket set of rims (RonJon) and have put over 35k miles since conversion with no curbing issues on my tires.
Interested to see others' opinions though.
This may be off subject... but what are you doing with the original PAX rims? I still kept mine but can't seem to get anyone to buy these. is there a market for these?

Wheel alignment wont change if you change wheels, same size, different size, it doesn't matter. Only if you change suspension parts those things change, toe in, toe out, camber, caster etc.

Personally, I always recommend getting your alignment checked whenever you get a new set of tires. Nothing is worse than spending a grand on a new set of tires just to find out 5,000 miles later that your toe was out and destroyed one or two of them.
