daler alignment

Has anyone taken up Acura's free alignment offer in the first 12 mon/12000 miles?

I am approaching 11200 but Idon't feel I need it. Hate to fix it when it is not broke.

Just do it, or soon you won't have a choice. After 11K miles, you may well need something. By the time you feel it, you are probably wearing your tires at an accelerated rate in one area, which may be difficult to recover from. Don't want to have to buy new tires unless you have to. 245/50-17 are not cheap.

Is this an Acura thing or an offer from specific dealers? My dealer provides every other oil change free as well as annual inspections.

dealer-offered alignment

My finance person told me it was an Acura offer so each dealer should honor it. Every Acura/Honda I have bought since 1992 was offered this. It was explained to me to offset alignment issues that could have been caused by shipping (over-zealous tie-downs on the boats/trains).

I have bought eight Honda/Acura products and never heard of this. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist, it just means I haven't heard of it.

I certainly need to ask the dealer about it....
