I was thinking many options before i decided to make a full exhaust on the Legend.. was thinking of buying a TL shawd exhaust and modifying it and so on.. but in the end i made it here localy..
first off a fellow member here used Magnaflows as end mufflers and this got me started..
My goal is to get as quiet ride as i can to 2000-2500rpm and than i want a full bodied VTEC powered sound.. I have i think a perfect exhaust sound on my s2000 and i will post a link here from youtube from when i was on 5.5psi on my comptech.. now i am at 15psi and it sounds even more awsome.. but no video..
to get to the point..
I ordered 5 magnaflows and will be here in about 2 months time (shipped by a container)..(i live in Europe)
plan is to put 2 muffelrs at the back(14325 polished),than if its too loud to put 2 resonators upstream the mufflers (10425 satin since polished were shorter and this is 4 inch longer) ,and if its too loud put another resonator on the midpipe.. (14419 poslished.. only one that has 4” body and 3” inlet) and than if its too lout i dont know what to do.. put it back to stock?

First off.. I had to take out the whole exhaust,make a jig for it and make my new one off of my oem one.. the hardest thing is to get the stock pipes out. Front one you have to take the fan out.. and the rear one you have to dismantle the cross member reinforcement and also the wiper. And still you have to wiggle it out..
anyway.. my goal was to make it like this.. 2 into 1 (jpipe) with pipes external diameter of 60.3mm and than go into a 76.1mm pipe and the split into 2x 60.3mm pipe.. pipe sizes are 1.5mm or 2mm
so maybe in usa terms 2.25” and 3”
I planed it to make it so I can use and interchange all oem resonators and muffler so I can experiment with the sound.. and see what suits me best..
I made the oem rear mufflers on flanges too..and reduce them to 60 to 50mm (oem is 50mm)
OEM End tips will always be used..
change from oem piping is big.. I will post pictures of the oem pipes if someone wants..
in the end..i will be putting the exhaust in next couple of days and see how it sounds and fits.. will post pictures and videos .. here are some fotos.. from the whole process.
All items are made,non prefabricated items are used.. (flanges ,hangers and so..)
first test is to use all new pipes but stock rear mufflers,than add resonators instead of the new pipes.. first add the ones that are before the rear mufflers than the ones after the jpipe.. i timed my time before this mod and i will measure the time after this to see what performance gains i get..

I installed it today.. I went with full seutp and oem End mufflers.. the car is pretty quiet almost OEM like but makes resonants because the end mufflers are empty and only chamber type and no filling..i idle you almost cant hear them..and when you push the gas the resonants make the worst of it.. no loudness but resonants of the empty muffler.. and I wa amazed that on WOT after 4k you cant even hear the exhaust only the Intake hauling.. its amazing how quiet the car is..only the resonants destroy the party.. after this I put the oem Setup from the jpipe to the end and almost it sounds like stock.. maybe no difference on little.. I cant belive it that there isn't any rasp like I hear with some other setups on oem components..
it sounds stock like and I will time the car later to see performance gains to quarter mile,1000m and to 200kmh..and maybe 0-100kmh difference?
will know later..
from this I am planning just to install the magnaflows on the back and see how it sounds.. and I will see if I need to install the mid mufflers I got to make it more quiet..
have to test highway sounds and noise..
but that's in 2 - 3 months.

p.s. my s2000 sounds little different now.. the video is with stock header and low boost..now I have a Maxim Works 4-1header and almost 3 times the boost.. it sounds little different and I think on higher rpm is more shhhsh sound than before since its more air I think that's is pushing trough the mufflers.. more business sound..
but the video above is a milestone in 2 liter sound..

I did a setup kinda like yours and it ended up not sounding so great. Not sure how close yours is..

there is a similar setup in the TL forum on the SHAWD TL.. I mean they just put magnaflow mufflers like mine on the end and it sounds great..
that's why I bought 3 more midmufflers to see what happens with the end ones only..go in,than I add mid mufflers.. 2 than one more.. but I think it should sound ok.. the borla you did is exactly how I don't want it to sound.
