This is the coolest car I have ever owned.

I know I may sound dumb for saying this but does anyone not know about the small lights in the outside doorhandles at night so you can see where the door handle is when you are looking at the door. I did not until last night. It was pitch black out and I unlocked the doors with the remote and when I went to open the passenger door for my wife I noticed a cool little light on the door handle. Very smart thinking on acuras part. It made my week. I am learning new things everyday about the car.

Yup. Great feature isn't it? They have thought of all kinds of things for this car. I wish it had cooled seats and a backup camera. Honestly, those are about the only two things which I would want added to the car (well I guess hybrid would be cool, just for the sake of improving gas mileage a little bit and the increased power)

Your right on, cooled seats and a backup camera would make the car. I hate parallel parking in this car. I am still learning the car's size.

With the mirror tilt-down feature, I find parallel parking the RL a breeze. It takes some getting used to any new car.

I agree, absolutely coolest features out there and organized and presented in such a tasteful way.

In addition to the RL we also have the Lexus RX 400h which has the hybrid and backup camera. I certainly vote a strong "yes" for adding the hybrid (twin electric motors for awd) to the RL asap, but the rear camera is not a big deal to me. It is useful to make sure there is no child or animal immediately behind the vehicle but is worthless for parking or determing how far away an object is. It is very wide angle so covers a lot of territory but you lose all distance context as a result. For parking or determining distance to objects behind you, you still have to use the old fashioned turn around and look and supplement with mirrors. Imho, rear camera is okay to have but nothing to pine for.

I am still not sure why the RL does not have the automatic rain sensor wipers like the MDX has. With all of the wonderful and useful bells and whistles on the RL, can't figure out why they omitted that fairly basic but useful function. It doesn't diminish the extreme "cool" factor of the RL's many features though.
