Check Everything on MID(where can I find TSBs)

Okay so this problem has peresisted for a while. It basically shoots trouble reading on the MIDs, I replaced the battery but that isn't helping.

This is the problem where it basically says to check various systems, Check ACC, Check CMBS, Check AFS, Check Transmission, Check Airbag. This weekend I'm taking the car to my mechanic to see if he can pull DTC & trouble codes so we can narrow down the problem to one of these systems. I just replaced the battery, sorry for logging into my other account. I have a 2011 RL.
I have a copy of the service manuals, but they seem to be of no use, at least for now.

MY REAL QUESTION: Does any one know of a way to get acsess to RL TSB, I need to TSB from 06-12 applying to CMBS equipped vehicles. Can someone please help me acsess the TSBs.

Any help? Thanks in advance, any help is much appreciated.

You can look here, but there is a lot to look through and not all are listed (you can change the URL address to get to the ones not listed). https://acurazine.com/forums/second-...mation-789213/

If you are looking for something specific EE4Life is a member here on AZ that seemingly has access to the Acura database and might be able to specific search for your.

Wow, thanks. I look through the list to see if any seem to apply. I found one, TSB 09-025: (2009 RL) Steering Angle Sensor Causes False SAS, VSA, CMBS, or AFS Messages, as I am getting both AFS and CMBS messaged, and since the ACC system is tied with CMBS, that would make sense. But I'm looking for anything possible to trigger transmission and Airbag warnings?
Can't find those.

And I seem to not be able to open any of the links. Is anyone else able to?

1. Open this link .

2. Select any entry to fill in the information for make, year, and model, then click on "submit vehicle information".

3. Open any of the listings.

Yes, I tried the instructions, again, I got it working. Not sure if this TSB is my specific problem, but I'm looking into it at the moment. If anyone else can help me with the issue, please chime in. All help is greatly appreciated.

You need to clear the codes, and see what comes back. Sucks, dude. I hope you can find a fix.

I would agree with 007 and reset the error codes and see what comes back.

Another thing I've found effective when it comes to odd sensors/warnings going off is a battery issue. The computer in a car is very sensitive when it comes to electricals and sometimes it can throw red herrings when it's low or dying. It may be a good idea to check the battery to make sure it's healthy. By replacing it, you also get to reset the computer which may help as well in the troubleshooting process.

^^^ Very good point. A dead or dying batter has been know to manifest itself in all sorts of odd electrical symptoms.
Check your battery and make sure connections are clean and tight. Also double check the age or your battery.

Yes, but by computer's web browser stored two different sets of passwords and usernames. So sometimes I just get logged into my other account. Please DO NOT delete any of my other threads or posts. Thanks.

Also, I talked to my Honda mechanic, he said it might be a problem with the charging system, but he isn't sure. I have yet to take the car in, but he told me when the problem occurs, drive straight to his shop. So he can see it, first hand. The code clear idea, seems very viable, and gives me a happy train of thought. I will be doing this, clearing the codes, and the next time it occurs after to go back and see what came up. Then, I'll post to see what comes back, and hopefully I can narrow down the issue, and find a fix.

But there is one oddity however, yesterday the message came on 3 times. Today, it came on 0 times. I can seem to find any pattern between, use of electronics, city/hwy driving or anything else for that matter. So the messages seem to be completely random. Thanks for the people who chimed in. The code clear idea seems very viable and should help me out a great bit.

Okay. I'm going to try something.

I'm going to try turning the CMBS OFF, and AFS OFF. This would turn off(I doubt completely), the CMBS, AFS systems. I'm going to try this tomorrow to see if it makes it any more different.

Also, if any one knows of any similar posts of these types of computer/ electrical malfunctions. Please link the threads, that would be much greatly appreciated.

If you must, ban Terry RL. DO NOT ban TERRY A KHAN, leave that account as is ,please. And, please leave all threads from both Terry RL and TERRY A KHAN active, do not delete any of these. Just make it so I can no longer operate my TERRY RL account or log-in on that account.

Leave TERRY A KHAN, exactly as it is.
