Cabin Filter for $8.26 instead of $28.00
When I got my first replacement air filter for $28.00 (Part # 80292-SHJ-A41) I thought it was way over priced for a simple piece of media filter.
I did a search and found a replacement for $8.26!
Go to www.rockauto.com and search for 80292-SHJ-A41.
I bought 3 and they look just fine.

He may be correct as all accounts indicate the RL to be a limited production model!

Also try www.filter1.com. They don't charge shipping if you order six or more filters totaling more than $50.00.

Just a quick question on this whole cabin filter replacement. I replaced mine yesterday because I had an evil smell coming out of the vents. I also bought some spray stuff to kill the bacteria and deoderize the vent system. I know that you have to spray it in the air intake and run the system for 5 minutes, but is that really the intake at the top of the hood near the wipers on the driver's side? I sprayed a bunch in there, but I never smelled anything in the car.
Plus, it almost felt like that thing was putting air out rather than sucking it in. If that's not the intake, where the heck is it?
Thanx.
