Angled door sill is hard to rest your arm!
Anyone notice the deep angles on the interior of each door sill where the windows open?
I find it annoying since I like to place my left arm there while driving and can't do it in the 2nd gen RL. The arm rest is fine but lots of drivers like resting their arms higher. It can only be done comfortably when the window is down but I like keeping the windows up during
allergy season and colder AM/PM.

Honestly the 2004 TL was worse - much worse - for me.
Coming from a 2000 Audi S4 > TL, I really missed the ability to rest my arm on the door armrest. My current RL is better than the TL but still not as comfortable as Audis (which are a bit tighter by design).

The reason is to allow room for the side air bags to deploy and to create additional space and rigidity in the event of a side impact collision, for which the RL rates as '5 Stars.'
