Alarm Chime

Hey guys,

quick question, when I used the handles on my car to lock or unlock the car I hear a beep, but when I use my remote I dont hear the beep, is that normal?

I had an 2005 White RL before and I believe it beeped both ways, but with my new 2005 Blue RL it only beeps when I use the handles.

Just want to know if this is normal or if I need to get it looked at. If I need to do something to get it to work please let me know.

Thanks

If I remember correctly, yes, you can use the setup so each method can make a sound or not. I think the use of the fob is called keyless acknowledgment and using the door handle is keyless access.

Also, if you press the lock button twice, it will beep also.
