Several papers, including USAToday have noted that Honda/Acura prices have just been increased by about 1% to cover skyrocketing steel costs supposedly 20-40% increases). And I just noticed that the base price of the RL is now listed as $49,100 on the Acura site. It used to be $48,900. (I know because that's what I paid in October before delivery charges.)

Yeah but 1% of $48900 is $489. That's only a $200 increase. Why do you think they didn't increase the price 1% as the papers wrote. That would increase the value of the car for current buyers. I would like to see the price increase now since I already have one.

BTW..

I would guess that this car will increase in price in the next 2-3 years based on demand and the options that is has in it. Which, If my Guess is correct would raise the resale value of the 05 RL's. But it depends on supply and demand.
