Acura Dealership Service

How do people feel about the service at their favorite Acura dealerships? For me, I think my expectations have increased as I've moved up the Acura chain (starting with the 1998 Acura 2.3 CL). Radley Acura's service may have been sufficient for a $20,000 vehicle, but I don't think it is up to par for a $40,000+ vehicle.

Does anyone have similar comments about their dealerships?

My dealer was sufficient for the TSX - but def. not for a $50k car. I walk into the Lexus dealer with our RX300 and they greet me at the car, get me in and out in minutes if I had requested a loaner. If not, they have a very comfortable lounge area with at least two people ready to serve you anything from a hot cappuccino to mrs fields cookies. They are willing to do anything for you. I walk into my acura dealer I see a tv the size of our nav screen (ok a little bigger) with uncomfortable seats (very small) and a mini fridge with some drinks. Once in a while (if you are there early enough) you will find muffins. I mean, I don’t really care because I am not there all the time (and hope not to need to be) – but I have to call 2-3 weeks in advance to get an appointment with a loaner car – of which is a TSX and compared to the RL it is nothing. I don’t have a problem with it, just because it is a fun car to drive. At lexus they give you the same car (a 05’ model). I have had two rattles in our RX and I took it in for service and they fixed the rattles and gave it back no questions asked. In the TL the dealer said keep it until 20k miles then come back so they can tear it apart (it had 3k miles on it at the time). I am not even going to take the RL to them to resolve my one rattle – I will figure out where it is coming from and solve it myself.

I think Acura service in general leaves much to be desired.
