Hello,my 05 RL, is blowing hot air,my question is should i just replace,the ac stator,because i dont see that the clutch of the ac engages,or should i change the whole compressor,and what is good remanufactured or new, thanks.

I had the same problem with my 06 last week. first thing is check if the compressor is working. it most prob. is. The problem is usually the stator, which thankfully is the cheapest part of the 3. the stator, clutch, compressor. the stator cost me 93$ and I bought the clutch too just incase I needed it. the clutch was 244.00$ but thankfully it is a returnable part. the stator unfortunately is not returnable because it is an electrical part. If its the compressor its about 500$. these are all prices from the dealer. if u go after market, I don't think u can get the stator by its self. I think it comes with an assembly. hope this helps.
