COUGH or stumble in the engine. if i rev up the engine in park . did get a slight stumble attempting to pass. RL runs smooth other than that no signs any thing is wrong.. does anyone know what that might be??

I'm pretty sure that is where VTEC kicks in so it may have something to do with that. Are you the original owner? Been tuned up recently?

When was the last time the fuel filters were replaced? At this level of performance if there is any weakness in the system, this is where it shows. I wonder if it is starving?

i am the first owner,Rl has never had fuel filter changed since dealer never said anything about it. i put in a can of BG44 on today. hope it helps. you would never tell this happens if you do not rev up the engine to 5000rpm. an it does not happen everytime. Rl runs normal.. i am bringing it to my dealer soon. Have 155,000miles on it NO problems as of this Amazing!!!

it does it while sitting in park! it only happen once when passing. it goes and comes. weird?? nobody would know it unless i told the person. car run great.

Have you checked your oil level?
reading the above link, as im not familiar with the RL, it sounds like an ECU issue.
try reseting the ECU.

if it does it in PARK it is most likely the rev limiter cutting in. most cars have this protection around that rpm range.

most cars, in park, wont rev over 5k rpm (depending on the engine)

its the rev-limiter cutting you off. nothing wrong with your car

you do not have an RL? our car rev to higher than 5000rpm. however, i am bring it in to dealer. i did get a code emission . but light went out and car revs over 5000 without stumble??? i LOVE this Car....
