Not much, other than push button is "Industry Standard" now, adopted by Acura as well - e.g. new TL.

"Push Start" ignition would have the same function as our "Turn Start", just a added "Cool" factor!

Ignition configuration is most likley dependent on if the next RL is a global vehicle. Many markets do not accept push button start yet....so our car is keyless only in the US and Canada. I don't believe the Chinese version of the RL or TL gets keyless either.

But at the rate we may see another generation RL, the point may be moot. Maybe Acura is waiting for global acceptance of push button ignition before releasing the next generation?
