2G RL Windshield Wipers
Hey guys, quick question. I need to have my wiper blades replaced. I looked at Walmart, Target, Bj's, and Costco. All the blades they sell for the RL either fits the 1G ('96-'04) or the RLX '(14 and above) with nothing for our '05-'12. Am I missing something here. Will either fit our cars? Or do I have to go through the dealer? If so, what is a reasonable price for them? Thanks

They're a bit of a bitch to replace too. I think its was two slices per wiper, and you gotta like slide-join them both on the blade. Frustrating.

No idea. I've always bought at dealer since they were cheap. Also, the parts guy at the dealer always just put them in for me on the spot. But in the 12 years I've owned this car, I've only replaced the blades once. The car is always garaged.

I've honestly never seen or tried those Michelin ones. The PIAA inserts have had good reviews on here. I've usually just gone with dealer inserts. They ring in at 15$ and I just pull into the service bay and they install them right then and there . Don't laugh, I do most of my own work but I hate those freakin' thin metal blades that support the insert (flexor I think?).

I have used PIAA for the past 4-5 years and could not be happier. I actually have one pair ready for swapping just in case, but they last long, and provide good performance in Chicagoland during winter months.
