2G RL Instrument Cluster Bulb/LED Replacement

Whats up everybody, My name is Isaac I just joined after reading the forums for the past few months. I've been updating my 05' RL with normal wear and tear after 100k miles. Still runs brand new, mostly cosmetic replacements.

I replaced the bulbs in the center console, radio and climate control with bulbs I found at radioshack. Emit the same color and brightness as OEM, but I want brighter bulbs in my gauge cluster.

Been looking all over this forum and other sites for bulb sizes, install pics/videos and havent found anything. I know the bulbs are wedge style but im unsure of the size. Anyone have any experience or tips with this?

Gauge cluster come stock with LEDs. Just leave them on the daytime setting (max high) and they should be pretty bright at night.

Problem is they arent bright, ive had them on max brightness for over 3 years and the color is dimmer and slightly yellow.

Anyone know the bulb sizes or part number?

The radio cluster has all the leds sodered on a board, you will have to remove and resoder those to replace those.

The climate control and heated seat switches can be replaced with T3 neo wedge led bulbs. I bought some off ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/251404291481...84.m1497.l2649 and they work great so far. changed the switches and climate control to blue color and look great. Used white leds for the temperature up/down switches.

I may tackle the radio board at a later point as i'd love to convert them all to a blue color. Have not touched the speedometer cluster yet, but mine are also dimmed and in need of a replacement even on max brightness.

I also replaced the bulbs on the climate control & seat heater switches. Got the bulbs dirt cheap at Radio Shack, cost me $7 total.
