2009 RL wiper blades?
I have been Googling all morning trying to find out if I can purchase wiper blades on my own for my 2009 RL. I started with the computer at AutoZone and their system didn't have the 2009 RL in it. So I Googled and found hits some places (including here on AcuraZine) about other year models but not 2009. It appears that for other years at least, you could buy 28" (driver) and 19" (passenger) blades and PIAA was a brand heavily recommended.
I went to the PIAA site (http://www.piaa.com/Shared/Applicati...e-for-site.pdf) and they do not list the 2009 RL as one of the year models their blades fit. Can anyone with a 2009 RL help me out? Am I going to have to take it to the dealer?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

can't you just buy some 28 and 19" ones from the parts store or amazon or costco and call it a day?

aftermarket ones will never be EXACT. if you want it to be perfect, you can get OEM; just buy the rubber inserts and replace them, they're only like 5 bucks each, cheaper than aftermarket!

I see a lot of bad information here. You cannot replace wiper blades on the OEM arm. Your only aftermarket option is PIAA silicone inserts.
How the hell did you not find that in your search? These are just the first three appropriate threads out 8 with a search that resulted in a couple of pages.

I saw those threads. I guess I am not using the correct terminology? I think I may have meant inserts when I said blades. I just want to replace the rubber part that contacts the windshield.

It's all good. The arm connects to the car. The blade connects to the arm and holds the insert to the glass. I think PIAA is the only option for inserts per se. One member had luck taking either the blade or arm off, going into the store, finding the closest match, pulling the new inserts out, and discarding of the new blade.
