2009-2011 RL gas mileage
I have a 2007 RL with 161,000 enjoyable miles on the odometer. I have found a 2009 for a very good price. The EPA mileage figures are 16 city and 22 highway. I get around 28 on the highway and 19 around town. What kind of gas mileage are you getting on your 2009-11's.
Thanks for the info

It should not be any worse unless you are looking for that 0.3 seconds shaved off the 0-60.
2009 isnt enough of an upgrade IMHO. Go for the '10 with 6AT or '11 with folding mirrors/backup sensors. Or better yet, wait for the '13.

I have an 09 RL. I drive really conservatively, and get ~18 MPG, mostly city and about 30% highway. I check my instant mpg on highway, and it sometimes hit 25 at most, but it mostly goes around 22 ish. I use 91 octane.
Still using the oil Acura put in (just bought it, CPO). Let's see changing to synthetic will help.

09 RL can get you warying mileage based on the tires you put on it. Ultra High performance tires will yield less, summers should be the worst. If you put touring on it I see no reason for you not to get comparable or slightly worse numbers than you're getting currently.
The best mix of performance and mileage would probably comem from Michelin Energy Saver A/S which are rated well and I've seen excellent mileage out of them. They are a bit on the expensive side.
